New Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Jan Fisher introduced newly appointed Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic Martin Bartak into his office in Prague on 8th May 2009.
Following a ceremony at the Prague Castle, where President of the Czech Republic Vaclav Klaus appointed new Czech Government, Czech Prime Minister Jan Fisher visited the Ministry of Defence the same day to introduce Minister of Defence Martin Barták to his office.
Minister Bartak, who has been in position of the First Deputy Minister of Defence since 8th September 2006 till that day, took over the new position from Mrs. Vlasta Parkanova, who was in office from 9th January 2007.
