This is to invite you to the grounds of the Czech military history. The opening event is called the TATRA DAY and it presents the 90th anniversary of TATRA trucks and vehicles being used by Czechoslovak and Czech military.
The 13th Museum Season of the Military Technical Museum at Lešany opens on Saturday 24 May 2008 at 9.30 a.m.
Besides dynamic parade of historical TATRA vehicles and meeting of owners of any types of historical TATRA vehicles and owners of historical buses, the visitors have a chance to discover all types of new TATRA T-810 truck, the Czech military will start receiving in 2008.

The Museum was founded in 1996 and at present it includes not only more than 350 historical tanks, cannons, motorcycles, armoured, transport and passenger military vehicles, whose production and use was started in 1890, but also items of recent military equipment.
The collection is presented in eight halls, under six tents and in the open.
The Museum and exhibition grounds are located in the area of former artillery barracks between Krhanice and Lešany villages close to Týnec nad Sázavou. It is about 30 kilometres south of Prague in the vicinity of Jílové u Prahy.
Opening hours:
- June and September over weekends from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- July and August on Wednesdays through Sundays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
