Unveiling monument for Czech aircrew

On Wednesday October 17th, 2012, a monument will be unveiled for the Czech crew of Vickers Wellington KX-B T-2553 of 311 (Czechoslovak) Squadron of the Royal Air Force. This will be next to the Information Center 'Dijk te Kijk' in Petten, the Netherlands. Commander of Czech Air Force Brigadier General Jiri Verner will attend the ceremony.

Shooting competition of Active Reserve

Reservists from Germany and U.S. Nebraska National Guard participated in a shooting competition of the Czech Active Reserve in West-Bohemian City of Pilsen this September.

Multi-National Military Police Battalion certified for NATO operations

The Czech Republic takes over command of the Multi-National Military Police Battalion from Poland as of 2013. The Battalion, composed of military police units of Croatia, the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia, was certified for allied operations at the SHARP LYNX 2012 exercise held in Poland this week.
