Multinational training for future

Ten NATO and PfP nations contributed to the Combined Resolve exercise the goal of which was in advanced training of mutual cooperation, compatibility of forces and sharing combat abilities in conducting defence and attack tactical operations. After the U.S. Army, Czechs had the second largest contingent of force involved in the exercise that was held at the Joint Multinational Readiness Center, Hohenfels, Germany, 9 - 22 November 2013.

CASA flies in the Sinai

The Czech Republic expanded its participation in the Multinational Force and Observers mission in the Sinai by deploying CASA C-295M transport aircraft with 13 flying and ground personnel as of 4 November 2013.

A week-long allied Steadfast Jazz 2013 exercise put in motion around six thousand soldiers in Poland, from NATO member countries and three PfP countries, in the largest NATO exercise since 2006.

Czech pilots fly the Baltic Eye exercise in Lithuania

Prior to the large NATO Response Force exercise Steadfast Jazz in Poland, Czech pilots train together with their Lithuanian colleagues the procedures of tactical air force combat in accordance with the exercise Baltic Eye scenario.

Ceremonies and events to 95th anniversary of Czechoslovakia and 20 years of the Czech military

At the occasion of the anniversary of birth of former Czechoslovakia on 28 October 1918, and historical events related to this year, the Czech military personnel actively participated in ceremonies and events mostly attended by supreme commander of Armed Forces of the Czech Republic President Milos Zeman. The following events were held between 25 and 28 October 2013.
