Helicopters descend on Prague

On 3 February 2009 an international military seminar ‘Availability of helicopters – Way ahead for Mi–Type Helicopters’ was held in Prague within the framework of the activities of the Czech Presidency of the EU Council.

As part of the Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the city of Prague will host, on February 3, 2009, an international politico-military workshop on ”Helicopter Availability – Way Ahead for Mi- Type Helicopters”, held under the auspices of the First Deputy Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic.

Czech KFOR Reserve Company Activated

Based on a request by Brigadier General Kyosto Halonen, KFOR Multinational Task Force Centre Commander, a Czech reserve company, which is on a stand-by in the Czech Republic, was activated on Saturday 6 September 2008.
